Odissi Dance performance - Khavita Kaur

Khavita Kaur has grown up with a rich and diverse background in the performing arts, spanning 25 years. She began with storytelling, followed by theatre acting and musical theatre productions.

Khavita evolved to training in the Indian art forms of Bharatanatyam and Odissi, alongside her degree in Chemical Engineering. She has presented herself internationally and won numerous awards and scholarships for her talent. As an established practitioner of Odissi in the UK, Khavita’s desire to sustain the purity and discipline of this art has led her to discover new dimensions and fresh connections to ensure a nourishing experience with her audience.

Billed as the formal Opening Event of The Nehru Centre, the performance will also pay tribute to the spirit of womanhood on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8.
