Bihu is the National festival of Assam, a North Eastern state of India. The word ‘Bihu’ orginated from the word ‘Bishu’ where Bi means “ to ask” God and Shu means “peace and prosperity”. Bhangra was a seasonal dance, practiced in the month leading up to the festival of Bisakhi
