‘Raagas on Mood’ is the brain-child of Dr Ramya Mohan, British Indian singer-songwriter, artist and Psychiatrist. It brings together a fi ne combination of strong, melodic global sounds with Ramya’s captivating vocals and talented accompanying musicians from India. They present a myriad of sharply innovative, energising and calming new music- a seamless West/East blend of classical, contemporary and popular music.

Launch of ‘CAPE’ (Child and youth version): CAPE is Dr.Ramya Mohan’s novel, internationally acclaimed, self-guided neuroscience and music-based therapeutic technique - collaboration with The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, launched at the Nehru Centre in May 2016. Having been a senior consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the NHS, Dr Mohan will be launching a Youth version of CAPE on the day. She combines existing neuro-scientific knowledge of music, emotions and established therapeutic principles with a seamless blend of Eastern / Western music – specifically developed to optimize stress management and emotional wellbeing for this vulnerable group with developing brains. Ramya is ably supported by musicians from the ‘Raagas on Mood’ Project.
