Evening of uplifting tunes and lyrical moves will celebrate the perfect union of beauty, grace, melody, rhythm, movements & expressions, when noted Odissi dancer from Bengaluru, India, Madhulita Mohapatra along with Gairika Mathur will bring on stage the elegance & splendour of Odissi dance in a delightful visual treat.

The event promises an enchanting evening in store for all art lovers when the dancers reveal the beauty & elegance of Odissi dance to viewers’ delight.

A graded artiste of India’s national broadcaster, Doordarshan and an empanelled artiste of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Madhulita Mohapatra is counted among the leading young Odissi exponents in the country today. She is admired and applauded by the connoisseurs and critics alike, for her profound artistry and her innate abhinaya (expressional) quality. She is the recipient of the prestigious BCKA Yuva Kala Pratibha award. She has widely performed in India and overseas. Gairika Mathur is a very talented upcoming artists in Uk trained in India.

With soft, lyrical and graceful movements set to lilting tunes and resonating beats of the mardala, dancers promise to transport viewers to the enchanted delight of spiritual ecstasy and divine bliss. The evening will showcase performances with traditional & contemporary inspirations & approaches and will feature her widely appreciated choreographies on traditional & contemporary themes & ideas.
