Lecture and Music: 150 years of Vande Mataram

Katha UK is organising an event to celebrate the 150 years of India’s National Song Vande Mataram. In the event Acharya Abhinav Yogi, Founder of Sanatan Spirituality Foundation. Co-founder of Sumarti Ashram Bharat )would deliver a lecture on Vande Matram which is a part of the great novel Anandamath written by Bakim Chandra Chatterji in 1875. Vande Mataram (meaning "I bow to thee, Mother") became a powerful symbol of India's awakening spirit and devotion to the Nation.

Geetika Sulekh (who runs her music academy and also performer with a strong background in Indian classical Music) would be presenting the National Song in full on the stage.

Noted poets and singers of United Kingdom would be rendering patriotic songs on this occasion – Dr. Anuradha Pandey, Dr. Gyan Sharma, Ashutosh Kumar, Ashish Mishra, Mathuresh Mishra and Pooja Bhanot.
