The Nehru Centre will celebrate the 77th Foundation Day of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, “ICCR Day” with a vibrant programme showcasing the richness of Indian art and culture. The celebrations will feature cultural performances by students, film screening, lecture, and engaging competitions.

Established to strengthen India’s cultural relations with the world, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations has, over the decades, played a vital role in promoting mutual understanding through cultural exchange. Its initiatives include offering thousands of scholarships to international students each year, supporting academic and artistic collaborations, promoting Yoga, classical dance, music, and Indian languages globally, as well as organizing festivals, exhibitions, and conferences.

Through this celebration, The Nehru Centre reaffirms ICCR’s enduring vision of connecting cultures and fostering dialogue through the arts.
