Following the tremendous success of last year’s showcase, this year’s edition promises an even more captivating experience. Luitporia Nasoni and Meghranjani Medhi present a spectacular dance drama, bringing together an extraordinary fusion of two iconic Indian classical dance forms—Kathak and Sattriya—alongside vibrant folk traditions of Assam.

Nritya Sangam offers a seamless blend of Kathak’s intricate rhythms and expressive storytelling, beautifully performed by Meghranjani Medhi, combined with the spiritual elegance and cultural depth of Sattriya and the colourful folk dances of Northeast India, brought to life by the Luitporia Nasoni Group.

Chinu Kishore, the visionary founder of Luitporia Nasoni and a respected leader within the United Assam Association of the UK, has been instrumental in promoting the arts and cultural heritage of Northeast India. She was recently honoured with the Femina Global Cultural Leader Award for her contributions to cultural advocacy. Meghranjani Medhi, a renowned Kathak artist, is the daughter of eminent Kathak exponent Guru Marami Medhi and acclaimed vocalist Joyprakash Medhi. With numerous accolades and scholarships to her credit, she has performed at prestigious festivals across India and internationally, including the USA, Egypt, and Israel. The programme will also feature special collaborations with Nritya Tales and Bhagat Thakur, further enriching the evening’s artistic diversity.
