This solo recital presents a deeply meditative journey through Hindustani Classical music, balancing the rigorous discipline of tradition with a nuanced contemporary touch. The core of the performance is dedicated to a rigorous, meditative exploration of traditional Raagas on the sitar, highlighting the architecture, spiritual depth, and intricate melodic interplay inherent in the lineage. Concluding the recital, the performance presents an original dhun composition rooted in classical raagas. Moving beyond traditional frameworks, this piece seamlessly integrates live sitar with subtle vocal melodies, set against a minimalist canvas of ambient pads and a soft, mellow rhythm. The result is an atmospheric dialogue that demonstrates the timeless evocative power of classical string and vocal traditions within modern sonic spaces.
