Awantika Dubey, an empanelled artist with ICCR, hails from Khajuraho, India—a city renowned for its breathtaking stone sculptures and vibrant musical traditions. Trained in music from the age of three under her father’s guidance and nurtured by many esteemed gurus, Awantika has mastered classical music, dance, and theatre. She developed a profound passion for Kathak, the traditional Indian dance form, and is celebrated for her dynamic “Baithaki” performances, where she sings and dances simultaneously.

Accompanying Awantika on this tour is the immensely talented tabla player, Akash Dubey—her brother and lifelong musical collaborator. Together, they have performed at prestigious festivals worldwide, including in the UK, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Their synergy on stage is a testament to years of dedication and training.

This unique performance is further enriched by William Tooby, a devoted practitioner of Indian classical music who has studied Indian raga singing and sitar for over 25 years. He also plays the harmonium, adding a soulful dimension to the ensemble. The trio has just completed a highly successful tour of Taiwan, captivating audiences with their artistry.
