Meghna will be presenting a Bharatanatyam Maargam comprising of traditional numbers choreographed by various celebrated choreographers.
A Maargam is a set of dance numbers which reflect the true essence of art through multiple facets that it exudes. Meghna, an alumnus of Kalakshetra Foundation, currently training under Sri. Renjith Babu and Smt. Vijna Vasudevan explores the flavors of a few compositions from the yore upholding tradition while adding her voice that has emanated from internalizing techniques, lessons, and principles through rigorous practice.
Stringing together what feels lost, Meghna brings about this performance with the intention of paying homage to all the great teachers who have contributed to the art form immensely, a few of whom she has been fortunate to train under.
