Rabindranath Tagore’s well known dance drama ‘Riturongo’ offers an interpretation of the six seasons and illustrates their rhythm and meaning of nature, summer (grishma), monsoon (barsha), early autumn (hemanta), winter (sheeth) & spring (basanta).

Dipa Chaudhuri is a First-Class Postgraduate in Indian Classical Dance Forms from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, and B Ed. From Calcutta University.

She has been appointed as Dance Guru by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Mauritius.

She has been honoured with Nrityaguru Samman in Mauritius, Nataraj Samman, Bharat Nirman Award, Rajya Sangeet Academy Merit Certificate, West Bengal and very recently, the Tejaswini Award in 2023.
