“Marga- the path” is a confluence of the contemporary form of Bharatanatyam and the tradition of movement philosophy prescribed by the Natyshastra. This production brings together some unique pieces on spirituality, connect with nature, connect with the self and love in a unique vocabulary that showcases intertwined sequences of Adavus and its marga counterpart- the “Karanas”. With Bharathanrityam at its core, Marga will explore the weaving together of pieces that reflect on some beautiful pieces that I have been an integral part in the path of me becoming a dancer.
