In Indian classical dance, the heroine is referred to as a "lady in love" because of her amorous relationship with a man, whether in union or separation. When we talk about love and relationships, we often associate them with feelings of joy, but there is also an element of pain. Apsara’s Bharatanatyam recital will centre on how a heroine, Jeevathama, attains Paramathma through various forms of Madura Bhakthi.

Apsara is a multidisciplinary dance artist with over 20 years’ experience, specializing in classical Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam dance forms. She has performed over 850 stage shows, nationally and internationally, and has been recognized by the Indian government with a prestigious artistic grade certification. She is also a film, television, and social media director, and own a media production company called London Dreams Video Production in the United Kingdom.
