A highly accomplished Indian classical dancer, Annwesa Singh brings over 30 years of dedication and artistry to the stage. Specializing in Kathak, her journey began at the age of four, with her first public performance at just five — marking the start of a lifelong commitment to the performing arts.

Her distinguished career spans numerous national and international platforms, earning her multiple accolades. Most recently, she secured 2nd place in the solo Kathak category at the 13th Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts in Paris (September 2024), held under the patronage of UNESCO. She has also graced the stage at prestigious events such as the Kala Mahotsav in New Delhi (January 2025), the Bharat Sanskriti Utsav in Kolkata (December 2024), and the Marathi Ranga Bhoomi Din in Mumbai (December 2023). Her early acclaim includes a performance at the Kolkata Millennium Program at Salt Lake Stadium in 2000, supported by the Government of West Bengal.

The performance will open with a Ganesh Vandana, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. This will be followed by Taal Tatkaar, featuring intricate rhythmic footwork and precise movements that highlight the technical foundation of Kathak. As the energy builds, the presentation will transition into Tore and Tukre — vibrant compositions that showcase speed, clarity, and dynamic foot patterns.

The finale will shift into a storytelling segment of Radha and Krishna through expressive abhinaya, blending grace and emotion in a captivating narrative.
