Rani Jaspal Parmar draws inspiration from nature with a background deeply rooted in design and technology. She graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India, and practiced in New Delhi before making her way to the USA to study and finally to London, UK.

Seeds of art and aesthetics were sown in the School of Planning and Architecture with the course going through various techniques of presentation and recognizing beauty in everyday objects, nature, and buildings.

She completed her Master in Architecture in Virtual Environments at the University College of London, The Bartlett School of Architecture and started a digital design agency in London, UK. She has spent decades turning clients’ briefs into practical designs, transforming and elevating their brands, and making them work. Her architecture and interior design studio are based in London.

This collection focuses on elements of distant seas and the play of varying colours and lights in the skies. Seas can be silent and reflective of the light of the sky and this is the focus of Rani’s recent work. She has found painting relaxing, an expression, and an attempt to capture some moments in nature.
