Vivek Agnihotri is an Indian film director, screenwriter, author, and activist. Since 2019 he is also a member of the board of India’s Central Board of Film certification. He won the National film award for best screenplay dialogues for his movie The Tashkent files.

Vivek and his production team I Am Buddha productions have produced and directed a movie The Kashmir Files which is a true story of the gruesome events of 1990 which led to the Genocide and ethnic cleansing of an entire community The Kashmiri Hindus.

This is an impact event to discuss how the rights of indigenous populations need to be protected to advance human rights and world peace in the backdrop of this very important and educational movie.

Please note that there will be no film screening of the movie, The Kashmir Files. Instead, this event will be an exclusive morning with a trailer screening, followed by a panel discussion and a question and answer session with the Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, and Producer Pallavi Joshi, at 11 am on 28th May.
