Through raga-based popular Bollywood music, Anand aims to take the audience on a unique journey - from ‘Bollywood to Bhairavi © (B2B)’ on a truly unique instrument - the Mohan Veena. B2B is a term conceived by Anand to represent a music genre that connects Indian film music with Indian classical music.

The aim is to take the listener from Bollywood (a metaphor for popular Indian film music) to Bhairavi (a metaphor for Indian classical music). The show will be very different as it will be an interactive one, with the audience going back with some knowledge about ragas and how they have been used in popular film music.

Anand Sundaram is the disciple of the legendary Grammy Award winner and Padma Bhushan Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (creator of Mohan Veena). He is the sole Mohan Veena professional in the UK and has created ‘Bollywood to Bhairavi’ – a unique concept to teach Indian classical music through popular film music.

Aftab Malhotra has been playing tabla since his childhood and taking his passion to professional levels, he has accompanied several noted musicians in UK. On the keyboard will be Atul Cantilal who is a highly sought after professional in the UK and international music circuit.

Siddharth Singh is one of the most sought-after guitarists in the UK and international circuit, mesmerising the audience with his deft and sensitive accompaniment on the guitar. A poet and passionate music aficionado, Aparna Rao will be acting as the MC for the evening in a most creative way.
