Sreelakshmi Avadhanam is a virtuoso Veena artist whose musical journey began at the tender age of 8. Under the guidance of guru Pappu Chandrasekhar, she showcased her talent on prestigious platforms like Yuva Vani, All India Radio's renowned youth program, during the 1990s. She is currently a student of Sri Meduri Srinivas, a renowned Veena Vidwan from Hyderabad, India. Sreelakshmi has graced numerous esteemed venues across India, captivating audiences with her soul-stirring performances.
In 2021, she achieved a significant milestone by completing her Master of Arts in Music (Veena) from Padmavati Mahila University, Tirupati, underscoring her dedication to musical excellence. Sreelakshmi is the co-founder of 'Sri Ragam,' a Carnatic Classical Music Club based in Hyderabad, providing a nurturing platform for budding artists. With over 20 years of performing experience, her artistry has flourished, captivating listeners with her profound mastery of the Veena. She will be accompanied by Mr. Bala on the Mridangam.
