Professor Ojesh Pratap Singh is a senior disciple of Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar (‘Padmashri awardee), who is one of the finest classical vocalists of the country and the renowned exponent of Gwalior, Agra, and Jaipur gharanas of Khyal. Professor Ojesh has been teaching Hindustani Vocal music in the Department of Music of the University of Delhi for the last 24 years. He is an ‘A’ grade artist of Akashvani and has performed at various places in India as well as abroad. His performances have been widely acclaimed by the audience and the music critics.
Professor Ojesh Pratap Singh will present a Hindustani vocal music recital, featuring performance of some Khyal compositions in different ragas. He will be accompanied by a team of accomplished musicians.
