Compound Radius, a thrilling London band blending rock, funk, folk, soul, electronica, metal, and world music will be presenting an array of their original unique compositions, showcasing the influence of western music on Indian music which has transformed into alternative world music, reflected in the work of Compound Radius.
Arnab Datta, aka Radius, is their lead singer, lead guitarist, and composer whose songs are multilingual, English, Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit Afrikaans, etc. His music is guitar driven with lots of riffs and solos. His compositions usually talk about, introspection, self-belief, positivity, and change.
Their present lineup has Radius on Guitar and vocals, Dan Mackrill on Bass, Rajib Chakraborty on drums, and Aditi on Female vocals.
There will be an instrumental piece to be presented in collaboration with acclaimed Sitarist Jonathan Mayer emphasizing East meets West; a fusion dance choreographed by troop Aakaar Dances on an electronic dance composition by Compound Radius ending the show with a bang!
