For the first time in the UK, witness an extraordinary fusion of two iconic Indian classical dance forms—Kathak and Sattriya. Nritya Sangam offers a captivating blend of Kathak's intricate rhythms and graceful storytelling, performed by Meghranjani Medhi, alongside the spiritual elegance and cultural depth of Sattriya, performed by the Luitporia Nasoni Group.
Chinu Kishore, the visionary founder of Luitporia Nasoni and a prominent leader in the NEICCUK and United Assam Association of the UK, has dedicated herself to promoting the rich arts and culture of Northeast India. Meghranjani Medhi, a celebrated Kathak artist and daughter of renowned Kathak exponent Guru Marami Medhi and acclaimed vocalist Mr. Joyprakash Medhi. With numerous awards and scholarships to her name, she has performed at major national and international festivals across the globe, from India to the USA, Egypt, Israel, and beyond.
This event is a humble effort to bring the exquisite art forms of Assam to the United Kingdom and share the vibrancy of its culture with the world.
