Prof. Lovely Sharma is a professional sitar player as well as a renowned music therapist & musicologist. She is an author of nine books on Indian Music and an active member of various national and international bodies. She has received many awards, the recent one being Utkarsh Lalitkala Academy, Government of Uttar Pradesh. She has been under the tutelage of Pt.Brij Bhushan Lal Kabr of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. An empanelled artist with ICCR, she is also the Ex-Vice-Chancellor of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music &Arts University, Gwalior.
