Get Direction

A fireside chat with Pooja, Anubha, and Manisha of Team ‘Desi Wander Women’, India’s first ever all women team participating in the Mongol Rally. Know more about their plans for covering 30,000 km across 30 countries, from the UK to Georgia and back, and their hopes for how this challenge will help bring about positive change for causes they care about – neurodiversity inclusion, elderly care, and cancer care.

An informal conversation discussing their passion for driving, travel, and their commitment to making our world one where all individuals, irrespective of their specific needs, can live with dignity.

Pooja is a Strategy professional turned Social Entrepreneur working to cultivate awareness and allyship for the 35 million strong community of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in India. She is participating in the Mongol Rally to campaign for a more #InclusiveDuniya.

Anubha is an editor with Deloitte, a mother of two teens and a real adventurer at heart. While she normally cycles, and is a two-time super-randonneur, she is doing the Mongol Rally to fundraise for elderly care in India.

Manisha is a senior leader at Tata 1mg, and a doer and builder in every aspect of life. With her participation in this rally, she combines her passion for driving with her passion for solving for gaps in the cancer care system in India.
