Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) brings you a Holi celebration with colours of Poetry in Hasya Rass and Shringar Rass. Holi’s relationship with poetry is deep and ancient. Poems celebrate its vibrant colors, spiritual themes of love and unity (like Radha-Krishna), and its cultural role as a metaphor for renewal, social harmony, and shared humanity. These themes are found in classical Sanskrit, Sufi, Urdu (Shayari), and modern Hindi verses that use Holi’s festivespirit to convey profound messages of love, peace, and breaking down barriers. The evening will feature some of the best Hindi Poets in London Literary Circle blending with some newcomers. The evening will be hosted by Smt Darshana Shah and Smt Sarika Handa from IIW.
