Reetas' work is inspired and fuelled by spirituality, universal human connections and society, namely love and peace. The works are predominantly impressionistic abstract for this particular exhibition named: Soulful. The key themes that run through the works collectively are the connection and similarity of humans at the heart and core. There is a fluidity of style that creates a flow of simplicity yet an element of engagement with the audience.
It is the aim that the paintings can provide food for thought and relate with simple and yet profound messages that the paintings illustrate.
Acrylics are predominantly used for this set of paintings. The artist also works with the watercolours medium, creates folk art and is an evolving photographer of predominantly landscapes, nature and people.
