Prof. Radha Vallabh Tripathi- former Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (presently Central Sanskrit University), Vice Chancellor on additional charge at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and Vice Chancellor in charge of Dr. H.S. Gour University, is a literary genius, an outstanding personality and one of the senior-most figures in Sanskrit and Hindi literature.

He is widely acclaimed for his original contributions to the study of Natyashastra & Sahityashastra. Recipient of multiple national and international awards, Prof. Tripathi has the distinction of publishing 175 books, 278 research papers and translating more than 30 Sanskrit plays. He has been extensively referred in various research journals on Indology, and many Ph.D. s were carried on his creative writings in Sanskrit in several Universities. He has also worked as Visiting Professor at Silpakorn University, Bangkok for three years.
