Utsav: 350th year of Coronation (Rajyabhishek) of Chhatrapati Shivaji

Shivaji Maharaj- a formidable figure in the history of India, is the embodiment of valour, courage and righteousness who tried to protect the interests of his subjects. He fought against the disorder & turmoil rampant at the time and tried to establish indigenous rule (Swarajya).

Facing several impediments himself, he was successful in instilling confidence and self-belief among the people.

His coronation day is a symbol of regaining of identity and is a momentous occasion to celebrate, through spoken word, song and dance.
