Rajendra Kandalgaonkar is an ICCR empanelled artist and one of the most popular exponents of Hindustani Classical music. He has received worldwide acclaim for his innovative techniques and dexterity. He has established himself equally and firmly both in quality-conscious international music and in the highly demanding, critical field of Indian music. A strong groundwork in music through training Rajendra Kandalgaonkar has been trained by some of the most renowned Gurus.

At the young age of 7 he began his basic training in vocal music from Pandit Vishnu A Ghag, of the Gwalior Gharana. This spanned an intensive 18 years, from 1967 to 1984. He then moved on, to train under none other than the maestro of Indian Vocal Classical himself, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi of Kirana Gharana. He has performed at many well-known concerts all over India, along with regular performances on Doordarshan (Indian Television) and AIR (All India Radio). He has also conferred the highest’ A’ grade for Indian Vocal Music by All India Radio and Natya Sangeet (Marathi Stage Music).

Avinash Patil has learnt Tabla from his father Pandit Pramod Patil and Delhi Gharana’s noted Tabla player Pandit Umesh Moghe (Ustad Inam Ali khan tradition).He has completed his Master’s degree in Tabla from Pune University with a gold medal. He has had solo Tabla performances at Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi (UAE), and throughout India. He has also accompanied Padmabhushan Pt.Rajan Sajan Mishra, Pt.Ronu Majumdar, and Pt.Jayteerth Mevundi.
