Kassiyet was attracted to Bharatanatyam at the age of 7 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2010 she was awarded the ICCR scholarship to receive intensive training in Bharatanatyam under Padma Bhushan Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan. In 2012 Kassiyet completed her Arangetram.
In the last eight years she has performed in many prestigious festivals across India and abroad. Kassiyet will be presenting a Bharatanatyam Margam. This will be a traditional repertoire consisting of several dance pieces, from crisp technical precision to expressive storytelling.
