GNA-Thraya is an ensemble of three ardent Bharatanatyam artistes from India, being led by Guru Vidyashree Radhakrishna, artistic director of Gaana Nritya Academy, Karnataka. She has been teaching Bharatanatyam for the past 25 years and has contributed extensively to the art field staging numerous critically acclaimed dance productions and nurturing talented disciples. She has learnt Bharatanatyam from revered Gurus, Late Sri Muralidhar Rao, Late Sri Adyar Lakshman and Guru Rama Vaidyanathan. She has been empanelled as an ICCR artiste by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and has travelled across India with her performing unit with numerous memorable performances to her credit.

Guru Vidyashree is being accompanied by two of her senior disciples, Divya Bhat and Deeksha Sadanand. Like their Guru, they are also graded artistes of Doordarshan (broadcasting network funded by Indian Government) and are active members of the performing unit of GNA. Divya Bhat, has been pursuing the artform for the past sixteen years and has performed at various platforms in India as a soloist under her teacher’s guidance. She was recently conferred with Nalanda Nritya Nipuna Award in Mumbai, India. She is a Chartered Accountant pursuing a career in taxation alongside her dancing pursuit. Deeksha Sadanand has been learning the art form for the past fourteen years and made her solo Bharatanatyam debut in 2016. She is an engineer and is pursuing a career in automation and is nurturing her passion for dancing.

GNA-Thraya would be presenting a repertoire in Bharatanatyam, encompassing technical dancing segments and engaging narratives through abhinaya.
