As a countdown to the International Day of Yoga 2024, The Nehru Centre will be hosting free Yoga Classes every Tuesday evening commencing on 07 May until 18 June 2024. This session will be held in collaboration with major UK based organisations and yoga teachers.

This session will be guided on the scientific and Yogic importance of the spine through practical experience of asanas (poses). You will then experience Heartfulness Relaxation and Rejuvenation or Cleaning practice with Yogic transmission after which is a subtle yet powerful tool to unbur-den and to detox our mental and emotional fields, which induces a positive effect on the back and the body.

Our spine health is vital to our overall health: it gives us stability, protects our spinal cord which helps us feel sensations and move our body, and provides bodily support throughout our life. A healthy spine also enables good posture which allows us to dive deep in meditation without bodi-ly discomforts.

The session will be led by Heartfulness Yoga and Meditation trainer Paridhi Singh. Paridhi has immensely benefited in all aspects physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual through daily Heart-fulness practices. Her goal is to help share the gift of holistic health offered by Heartfulness tools in a nurturing, joyful and playful manner to as many people as possible, one Yoga flow at a time.

Why Heartfulness? The heart is the centre of our existence. It is the source of intuitive guidance and wisdom, and it paves the way to living a more balanced life. Heartfulness meditation is a sim-ple and yet powerful practice of meditation that connects us with the light and love within our hearts. Heartfulness Yoga allows us to deepen this inner connection through conscious bodily movement where we seek the 'union' or Yoga of our body, heart, and mind.
