‘UK India Together’ Creative Industries and Cultural Economy Seminar @IGF London
Join us as we explore the synergies and opportunities in the creative and cultural economies of the UK and India, including how the Indian creative economy can be enhanced through exposure to the UK's globally renowned creative economy sector. Designed as a highly interactive platform to join the dots across the creative economies of both countries, confirmed speakers include, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President, ICCR; Caroline Meaby, Director Arts Network, British Council, Amish Tripathi, Director, the Nehru Centre, Chenine Bhathena MBE, Creative Director, Coventry City of Culture 2021, Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman and Founder, Serendipity Arts Foundation and Huw Watkins, Head of Asia Policy, UK Intellectual Property Office. As well as bringing together members of the creative economy, the Seminar showcases policy and corporate investment perspective, with a focus on the India-UK 2030 Roadmap, public/private partnerships for regeneration and also put in focus the British Council's arts and culture programme to mark India's 75th anniversary of independence.
