Sursargam Musical Society Ireland is an organization dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of India's rich cultural heritage within the local community here in Dublin. Through a diverse array of events, workshops, and performances, Sursargam Musical Society Ireland strives to showcase India's traditions, including classical dance forms, music, and art.
The event will showcase a mesmerizing dance performance which promises to captivate audiences with its blend of intricate choreography, rich cultural heritage, and artistic excellence.
The key performer, Debanjana Bhattacharya, has dance experience of 30 years and has been learning different classical dance forms from the age of 3 years. She is a certified Odissi and Kathak dancer. She has been also teaching different dance forms like folk, Rabindra Nritya and semi classical to the students of the Sursargam Dance Academy. She will be accompanied by Shriya, Shubhrima and Abhisweta.
The presentation will take you through a mesmerizing journey of Bengali folk-dance traditions capturing enchanting rhythms, vivid colours, and stories woven in motion.
