Papia Ghoshal will exhibit her new series of paintings on the bauls and fakirs of India. She is the only Indian artist to receive prestigious awards in Europe like European Prize for Fine Arts (2007), World Prize of Salvadore Dali (2009), Medal of Franz Kafka (2008).In India she has received the Mother Teresa International Award along with other national awards.
The present series of her paintings will display her personal spiritual journey, the Baul-Sufi path she devoted her life into. The paintings express the ancient philosophy, practices and way of life of the bauls and fakirs of India.
