This will be a showcase about creating objects of beauty from fabric waste and recycled textiles and is very eco-friendly . These include exotic, uplifting fabric collages on canvas, fabric baskets, floor coverings, wearable art etc.
Dr Mene has been creating fabric collages for the past ten years and has had several group and solo exhibitions. Images of her work have appeared on the covers of several magazines and in 2015, images of her collages adorned the calendar of TOSOH, a chemical company in Japan.
