The Bengal Heritage Foundation (BHF) will present a 90-minute programme to celebrate the onset of Fagun or the harvest season of India.
The harvest season is a period of joy and festivity as the farmers reap the fruits of their hard work and a good harvest ensures a year of prosperity ahead.
The evening will feature folk songs from rural India associated with the season of Fagun. The performances will be by accomplished UK-based singers and musicians, who have performed on stage at several venues in the UK and in India. The performers include Anamika Sarkar, Amith Dey, Ani Bardhan, Arunava Bardhan, Rupsha Chatterjee, and Tanusree Guha.
