Tejbir is an architect / artist based in Bahrain. Art has always been his passion .He was introduced to oils in school and took up water colours mainly in Architecture College. Architecture reflects prominently in his art both in the choice of subjects (heritage/ architecture / urban landscapes) & in their treatment (line work, use of markers).
Over the years, Tejbir has exhibited in Chandigarh, Delhi & Bahrain. In March 2018 his work, “Rest @ Piccadilly “, was chosen as one of the 10 finalists in ARTBOX Annual Exhibition, New York. He has also participated in Art fairs in New York & Miami in 2017. Prints of his works depicting the heritage of Bahrain are now in the Bahrain National Museum gift shop.
The Exhibition is called,” From an Architect’s Travelogue”, since it will feature Urban landscapes from the artist’s travels all over the world, but prominently from London & Europe. It will have collection of soft pastels/ oils/ water colour paintings featuring scenes of crowded plazas, streets, aerial views with heritage / architecture as the common binding thread.
