Indrayuddh Majumder is one of the most technically and musically equipped young Sarod sensations in the world, who has taken up the responsibility of spreading one of the greatest treasures India possess, the extremely rich tradition of Indian Classical Music, to the mass across the globe. Indrayuddh had started his initial training at the age of 5 from his grandfather, Late Ranjan Majumder. Later on he started to learn from his father, one of the best known Sarode maestros in the world, Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar. He has also been receiving Vocal training from his mother, the renowned Indian Classical Vocalist, Dr. Manasi Majumder. Though he is formally trained in Indian Classical Music, his interest and pursuit of knowledge of other genres of music continuously make him evolve his music and its presentation in multi-dimensional angles. The dynamic young Sarod player, Indrayuddh, had already performed not only across India but also across USA for two successive annual US Tours.

Indrayuddh has just received the prestigious ‘Salon de Virtuosi Award’ at the Consulate General of India, New York, on 7th June, 2018.

Indrayuddh Majumder , will be performing a few Indian Ragas on his Sarod, a 25-stringed lute-like Indian Classical Instrument, replete with colours, emotions and peace flowing out of his magical touch! He will be soulfully accompanied on the Tabla, the Indian percussion instrument, by Aniruddha Mukherjee. Attend to believe the power of the new generation of Indian Classical Music!
