Amruta Bawane Garud is a talented singer with an aesthetic sense and creativity. She is skilled in Indian classical music and has been teaching this genre in theory and practice covering melody and rhythm. She also has mastered light classical music genre with equal grounding. In addition she has learnt the art of Indian percussion
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Indian Music from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, India in 2010. Bachelor's Degree (Sangeet Visharad) in Music from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal, Mumbai, India in 2011, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree (Alankar) in Music.
She has several recordings and some of the songs have been broadcasted on National Radio Station, India. Amruta regularly performs and teaches at various venues in Wales through her Ayan Music School, Cardiff.
