Studies have found that listening to music can help calm one’s nervous system and lower cortisol levels which can reduce stress anxiety and depression. This event is a part of a wellness program and a post pandemic emotional relief to help educate people how music could boost feel-good chemicals in you and uplift your mood and cheerfulness thus decreasing stress hormones and negative emotions.

Prakriti Ganguly is a trained classical singer under the tutelage of Pt. Rajan and Pt. Sajan with degrees in Sangit Visharad and Sangeet Vibhakar from India. She has performed many ghazals classical and modern singing on Indian television and UK. Her recent performances were in The Nehru Centre, Bhavans, Lions clubs, Kala Jyoti, NTV London and UKBC.

Monidipa is a versatile dancer with an excellent knowledge of Odissi dance form and a master’s degree, an artist director who has won the Nritya Mani title and won a gold medal at national level.

Dr. Ragasudha is an associate lecturer at the University of Sunderland and an award-winning dancer and disciple of Dr. Uma Ramarao. Ragasudha has made valuable contributions to Arts and Culture and Heritage scene in UK and has performed almost all over the UK and was invited to present her dances to two World conventions inaugurated by consecutive honourable Presidents of India in 2012 and 2017.

She has had the opportunity to dance 30 times at the British Parliament thrice in European Parliament and once in Welsh Parliament.
