Prabhat Rao is one of the leading Hindustani classical (khayal) singers based in London, UK. Prabhat’s music is rooted in tradition and his repertoire is heavily influenced by the stylistic features of the Gwalior Gharana. Every recital of his is innovative and leaves audiences with a deeper appreciation of raaga sangeet.

As well as performing in India, Singapore and UK at concerts held in the Southbank Centre, Barbican, and the Bhavan Centre, he has produced and presented recitals at the Edinburgh Fringe and on BBC Radio 3. Prabhat is currently pursuing his PhD in music at Kings College London and is a recipient of many accolades including the Yuva Sangeet Ratna and Kala Samman awards.

Accompanied on Tabla by Himmet Singh who began his formal training under Ustaad Harkirat Singh Rayatt. Himmet has had the privilege of learning from the late Guru Acharya Pandit Shankar Ghosh Ji, setting a robust musical foundation. At age 20, Himmet Singh became a disciple and student of the world-famous Tabla Maestro, Taal Yogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar, a master of both rhythm and Taal. Himmet has had extensive, advanced training in the traditional method of studying Hindustani classical music known as ‘Seena Baseena,’ translating to, 'from me to you'.

On harmonium will be Siddhiie Kapshikarr, a versatile musician and equally adept at Harmonium, keyboard, piano and Geoshred. She has completed her masters in audio production from the University of Westminster. She has completed her bachelor’s degree, under the guidance of Dr L Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurthy. She has completed her ‘Visharad’ In Hindustani, Vocals and Harmonium.
