Produced by a leading platform for South Asian Arts in the UK, Saudha Society of Poetry and Indian music in collaboration with Nehru Centre and RadhaRaman Society, directed by Poet T M Ahmed Kaysher, Taste of Twilight is touring is bringing a unique philosophical interpretation of Twilight, cries and whisper through hypnotic presentation of Raag Marwa and Multani by one of the finest interpreters of Indian vocal music joining from India Srimati Koyel Bhattacharya and an emerging maestro of Indian classical Tabla tradition Kuntal Das on Tabla accompaniment, haunting poetry by Walt Whiteman, Sylvia Plath, Dylan Thomas, Ahmed Kaysher and Shree Ganguly performed by Tanjina Nur-I Siddique, Poppy Shahnaz, Erik Schelander; visceral painting by one of the finest Russian landscape painter Isaac Levitan on projection.

Saudha is critically acclaimed for its series of experimental productions merging poetry, music and painting seamlessly so that each can complement each other. Saudha attracted a diverse source of audiences from all different heritages through its series of presentations of mingling and bridging different arts from different corners of the world as a way of interpreting each other.

Some of their productions are Frida Kahlo Through Indian classical music at the Royal Albert Hall, Saudha’s Lyrics of Love at the South Bank Centre and at Edinburgh Fringe and Chayanaut through Sebastian Bach at the House of Commons, Taste of Twilight at ICCR, Kolkata, and the Welsh Parliament were critically acclaimed by major media and musicologists.

During Covid, Saudha took the first ever initiative to connect leading musicians of the globe, writers, poets, painters, and filmmakers from across the world through virtual platforms and the sessions were hugely appreciated by the audiences from all around the globe.
