Dipak Kumar Chakraborty, has trained under Sri Rashbihari Chakraborty, Sri Ranjit Kr. Barua finally Ustad Sabir Khan. He belongs to the Farakhabad Gharana. He has accompanied many top grade artistes like Late Pt. V.G.Jog, Pt. Monilal Nag, Pt. Ronu Majumder, Pt. Rupak Kulkarni, Pt Atul Upadhay, Ustad Shakir Khan, Ustad Saheed Jafar Khan, Pt. Kartick Kumar and many more. He is empanelled with ICCR .Dipak has being invited from BBC World service London for an exclusive interview & demonstration. He is musical interviewer & artiste of All India Radio and the Principal of "Jagacha Aikatan" International Institute of music for last twenty nine years. His book "Tali theke Taal" was published 2001 at Kolkata Book Fair.
Rupa Chakraborty started her formal training under the guidance of Manjula Polle, Ashit Chattapadhaya and finally to Dr. Abhijit Roy. She is now under the guidance of Madhumita Roy. She is perusing her Phd. from Rabindra Bharati University and was selected as a Kathak dance teacher cum performer in Indian Embassy Dushanbe, Tajikistan from ICCR. She is currently a nominated member of International Dance Council, UNESCO.
Rupa will perform a Vandana, a traditional Kathak recital followed by Rabindra Nritya, a dance based on Tagore's compositions.
