Speakers:

Rumi Thakur: A senior HR professional working in the NHS for more than 20 years. Rumi is a mother to two children; she is passionate about music which led her to also work as an RJ at lyca radio during the weekends. She is also the President of a local group call Shubham Ladies.

Dr Barnali Ghosh: A Technical Director at Engineering consulting company abd a PhD from Cambridge. Mott MacDonald Technical principal Dr Barnali made history as she delivered the Institution of Civil Engineers’ prestigious John Mitchell Award Lecture. She is the first female winner in the award’s 15-year history, as well as being the first person with Mott MacDonald to receive the honour. She is additionally, the Co-Chair of Research & Strategy for WIN (Women in Intelsat)

Pranjali Nehete: An MD Homeopath and Alliance registered licensed practitioner, Pranjali is an emerging healthcare professional in the UK, and a Founder of “Asha Homeo Care”. In 2016, She was doubly blessed, with her MD degree and first child, little Krishna. She completed (CCH) program in the USA, took the leap and launched her first e-consulting practice there.

Cllr Charu Sood: She is the sitting Conservative Councillor for Weybridge St George’s Hill ward in Elmbridge since May 2018 and was the Deputy Mayor of Elmbridge in 2022-23. An active member of the local community. Outside of her community engagements, she is a mother of three daughters. Professionally, she supports her husband in their company as a director and is responsible for HR and Recruitment activities. Charu has been fighting cancer since October 2022 but despite her illness she continues.

Anjali Ghosh: A young researcher who came to the UK 23 years ago as a mum to a two and half year old. Anjali received her 2nd MSc, a PGCE, SFHEA, HCPC registration as Biomedical scientist, a fellow of institute of Biomedical sciences. She is presently a course leader for undergraduate applied biomedical science course at a university, along with research on bacterial genomics and contributing to PhD and master’s dissertation. She is also involved in organising many community projects.

Chaitali Charitre: A Management professional with a Master of Science in International Business, a public speaker and influencer too. Chaitali is the Founder of National award winner the Epic Awards Sahyadri Group (social/community welfare group). Sahyadri has been nominated for the Queens Award in 2021 for it continues voluntary work towards the community.

Anannya Sarkar: As the Senior Principal in Satellite & Terrestrial Networks & Media, Anannya is at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge technologies that connect our world. She is also the Founder/Director of Harmoniverse, a Distinguished Toastmaster in the past and a proud mother of two beautiful boys.
