Young Indian theatre maestro Padmashri Mohammad Ali Baig presents his play ‘Under an Oak Tree’. The play is a poignant and memories-filled journey of childhood, adolescence and adulthood. An inspiring biographical story of travelling off the beaten track… and eventually, finding one’s way. A boy born in a Hyderabadi palace traverses through the jet set ad world, coming to terms with the deep loss of his father and ultimately, discovers himself through his father’s craft.

This is the latest play by the internationally-reputed theatre repertory from Hyderabad, Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation, who’s earlier globally-celebrated productions ‘Quli: Dilon ka Shahzaada’, ‘Spaces’ and ‘1857: Turrebaz Khan’ enthralled the UK audiences.
