The All Party Parliamentary Group on Indian Traditional Sciences was established in 2014 ‘To promote and facilitate informed discussions on issues concerning all Indian Traditional Sciences practised in the UK (Ayurveda, Jyotish, Siddha, Unani, Vastu, and Yoga) in the NHS by providing a forum for cross-party parliamentarians, senior policy makers, academics, leading community figures and other stakeholders.'

Yoga Symposium 2018 is aimed at furthering the understanding of Yoga as an integrated approach in aiding preventative health, pain and disease management and holistic well-being. Among alternative practices, Yoga is an emerging science complementing conventional medical treatment, particularly psychosomatic and Non-Communicable Diseases. The benefits of Yoga are well established in preventative health, wellness and mindfulness, pain and disease management, mental stress and associated disorders.

The practice of Yoga offers good strategies for forward-thinking organizations to create harmony within diverse teams and achieve optimum outcomes in the workplace.
