The Nehru Centre & The High Commission of India presents a puppet show based on Swami Vivekananda life and teachings. A first of its kind, a puppet show in English, sponsored by The Ministry of Culture.
The puppet show on Swami Vivekananda is based on some of the stirring incidents of his life and powerfully conveys his important messages. Incidents selected from Swamiji’s life portray his fearlessness, compassion, spirit of service along with sharp powers of reasoning. The stories depicted in the show bring out his message of harmony, his explanation of the basis of idol worship and the high ideals which he placed before the householder as well as the Sannyasin.
